Welcome to the Breathitt County Hunger Alliance

The Breathitt County Hunger Alliance is a 501c3 nonprofit volunteer ran organization. One which is dedicated to do our part to end hunger and to provide essentials in Breathitt  and surrounding counties.
Our mission is to access quality, nutritious food, to educate on being self sufficient and to find much needed resources.  We strive to create a sustainable food system with the help of businesses, organizations, and individuals.
We also, look for partnerships who can provide basic necessities.
We have been here in TIMES OF NEED and we aren’t going nowhere.
If we don’t have the answer, we will pray, we will get on the phone, online, on the road until we come up with something.
We are BLESSED to be SERVANTS of HIS

Our goal is to create a sustainable food system in Breathitt County and encourage self reliance. We strive to provide access to quality, nutritious food, education, and resources to those in need.

We want to be able to provide information on what services are available through all national, state and local organizations.

Our dream is to have a building where a person may come and get a sense of family. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and ask how may we help you. Are you hungry, we will feed you. Do you need to shower? Come this way, we have fresh towels and really great smelling products. You have no clean clothes and your feet hurt from your shoes. Let's go check out "The Dressing Room." About us

We are a bunch of volunteers brought together to love and serve our fellow neighbor. We want BCHA to be a place where one feels like just stopping in to say hello, sit a spell or volunteer for awhile. We love seeing people leaving with something they needed or a little treat for someone they love. Some of us may have began as strangers, but we have became a FAMILY HERE. We love one another and we love helping  and serving others.
